Hello, I’m Rosemary Breen, the founder and CEO of Digital Iconic.
If you’d asked me a few years ago, who am I, I would have replied: I’ve worked as an accountant and an auditor, a market researcher and a political researcher, a public relations consultancy manager, and a personal development trainer.
Today, however, when asked who am I, I’m more comfortable replying: I’m a CEO and an entrepreneur, a writer and a publisher, a blogger, an app developer, and an internet marketer.
I graduated from the University of Adelaide (South Australia) with a degree in Economics; many years later I returned to tertiary studies and completed a Master of Education at Monash University (Victoria, Australia). I’ve lived and worked in Australia (Perth, Melbourne, and Adelaide), Jamaica, and the UK (London).
I’ve worked in finance with KPMG, Australia and RSM Tenon, UK.
My grounding in marketing stems from time spent with Hill+Knowlton (WPP Group), Australia and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, UK.
I’ve worked in political and health research in Australia, offline and online market research, and survey development and analysis.
I’ve developed websites, devised social media marketing campaigns (YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn), and written, edited and published print and digital books (refer Amazon for more details).
Digital Iconic is the latest (ad)venture on the continuum that is my life.
I’m equally at home working in the business and creative sectors and, as with my previous roles, being CEO and founder of Digital Iconic means having the opportunity to use my professional and life experiences to challenge myself.
It also means having the privilege of supporting innovative businesses that tap into our digital publishing model, use our software to create digital content, and build iconic brands.
